We’ve had our 4th group of visitors through these parts in the past 5 weeks, and our Londonology is down to a science. If you think you’re in for fannypacks, C$8 bottles of water or 4 hour lineups to see the changing of the guard, guess again! Here’s how the typical schedule works out:
- Take the overnight Friday flight from Pearson, and land at Heathrow or Gatwick on Saturday morning.
- Train or tube it to our flat in Islington – one hour direct from either airport.
- Take a 30 minute walk with us through Islington to the Regent’s Canal, then on to Hackney’s lovely Broadway Market. Crepe, falafel, or Caribbean stew for lunch; then Pimm’s in Highbury Fields if you’re posh (or London Fields if you’re hip).
- Dinner…dinner…dinner… Turkish at Gallipoli sound alright?
