Most cheese in the UK is far superior to that in Canada. Maybe because the cows tend to be fed differently, so the milk they produce is better, so the cheese is more flavorful? That’s my theory. If you come here and get into even a basic cheese (500g for about C$5-6, cheaper than Cracker Barrel brand in Toronto) you will notice a difference.
This Canadian cheese as below was a bit more expensive (GBP2.50 for 250g) but I just had to pick it up. If it’s as good as UK cheese I’ll be surprised. Findings to be reported at a later date.
